Hey Polkers,

First Post on here,

I have polks in my car and I am now looking for my home theatre....

I would rather found the info and not have to ask but I did try to find posts about matching these speakers and was fairly unsuccessful. That coupled with the fact that polk does not mention a cs225 on their website anywhere does not help.

The manual for the cs225 says it is the little brother to the cs275 and cs350.

Can you guys comment on the matching-ness of this set? And a decent price of it? I am trying to decide if i should bid on:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230157400448

Shipping to my house is a Firm 60 buck-aroos. So it is an expensive shipper.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Josh.

They should match up well. They have the same tweeter.

I can't commnet on that particular pair of speakers, but the e-bay seller is an "isoldit" and I run from them. Anytime an e-bay seller puts three lines of description of the product (that they do not own nor test), and 100 of disclaimer, I stay away.

They would be a good little setup if you don't spend more than $50 for the set. Anything more than that, and you might try to find something else. I agree with Dave that they aren't from the best seller, which is why I wouldn't spend more than $50 on them.

BTW, what part of OK are you from?

Well right now I am in North OKC, but will soon be living in Norman.

Yeah the seller was one of my leeries aswell.

Would I be better to go with a vintage set of Polk Monitors? and then what center would match them is there one? Seems thats all that is close to my budget..

And what could be better for around the same budget of small?

    Thanks.
    Josh.
