Upgrade from db104 to Momo2140

Hello,

I purchased two db104 dvc's about 2 months ago and have been pleased with the performance but find they lose the ability to produce bass at a high volume.

I'm considering upgrading to two Momo2140 dvc's using my current amp a Rockford Fosgate P450.2 bridged at 400 watts.

Would the MM2140 be able to produce bass at a higher volume the the db104? Is upgrading from the DB series to the MM series a worth while upgrade?

Any input would be greatly appreciated
