Talk about a substantial contribution to over-population. Ugh. I have 1 child and another on the way, and I feel extremely overwhelmed at times. I have no idea how these people do it...

God bless 'em that they're doing it. I come from a family of 10 kids and I'll tell you I'm blessed to have them. Growing up you really didn't think about it, it was just normal for us. I'm sure they're the same way. I couldn't even think of having that many myself, though.

It's not for everybody, obviously, but if they want that many kids and aren't living on the govt., then where's the problem? I find that people get unusually judgemental about stuff like this and there's no reason for it. How many is too many? 2.3? 4? 7? 10? Not my call. Not yours either.

BTW, I'm fairly certain that one of my cousins is their pediatrition, but I'd have to check to be 100%.

I also know a couple here in town who had 18 kids, and they're very nice, otherwise ordinary people.

It mentions that Jim Bob Duggar sells real estate and apparently he sells it very successfully. :)

Although you can't judge a book by its cover, the pictures of the family surrounding Mom in the bed certainly gives the impression that they are dressed well, well fed, and happy.
Bet they have good manners, too.

I'd have to say, .... nice job Duggars, if you do it as well if you appear to be doing it.

They apparently live in a 7000sq ft home that is paid for. I would say they are doing ok and as mentioned - the kids look well clothed and fed.

Be careful projecting your own fears, choices and beliefs on others. Everyone wants themselves to be the standard bearer of what is normal - and then complains when someone else is picked.....

Sorry dude, hate to ruin it for you. My wife (6th month at the time) wanted a divorce when I parked my car in the wrong spot in our driveway. When the baby is born she still gets moody but you don't really care because you're so happy (and tired.)

    Congrats on the baby!
