excellent; thanks for pointing this out.
Bits and pieces of this info have appeared elsewhere (e.g., liner notes to his "Scoop" albums), but it is very cool to see in toto.
Big T did always seem to have a slightly higher IQ than the average rawk star.
EDIT: This interview is absolutely fascinating!
Wonder what kind of hi-fi equipment Big T uses? -
Great read!Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."
President of Club Polk -
I just read the whole thing, and the only thing I learned is..... that boy must have one helluva bathtub.
Moon was The Man. Crazy as a shithouse rat, but nobody played rock and roll drums like that before he came along. -
As Keith himself said, he was "the best Keith Moon-style drummer I know of"!
Listen to "Bell Boy" on Quadrophenia (Keith's theme, on which he also sings a wee bit) if there is anyone here who doubt's Moonie's prowess as a R&R drummer -- even though he was incapable of keeping time, as Big T notes in the interview! -
Yeah. His lack of timekeeping absolutely ruined all the great Who albums. I can hardly listen to the original "Won't Get Fooled Again" due to it.

Pete kept time for 'em with his strumming, George ;-)
I think Moon was the best R&R drummer of all.
Plus, he reminds me of Buddy Rich. Heck, he even looked a bit like Buddy Rich!
