Anybody tried em? I'm eating one right now and they're incredible. The best thing to do is buy one with only cheese, and put your own fresh toppings on it. Tastes better and costs less. My parents tell me about the true style chicago pizza's from a place called Uno's and Dua's. *spelling?* They were putting out like 3.5 inch deep pies. Incredible. They've since split up and I see a couple of Uno's here and there.
Heh, I'm just rambling...killing time until I crack open the rum bottle.

Too bad I can't gas up the jet and test your claim. Uno's is rather 'spensive so I'll stick with the ****. Maybe they don't have the best....but the chicago style is the best of the worst.

Around here (Wash. DC) it's Pizzeria Paradiso wood oven pizza with all kinds of exotic toppings. Voted the best for like the last 15 years. Best part of it is I'm a friend of the owner....pizza is FREE. Of course, some may think that makes me bias, but I've tried lots of other pizzas over the years.....no question, it's the best. :p

I was in Chicago a little over a month ago and had genuine Chicago-style pizza for the first time at Giordino's. I only had 2 slices and I was full! they were around 3.5" thick and very filling. I'm going back to Chicago in 2 more weeks and hope to get some more. I'll have to ask my girlfriend (reason I'm going to Chicago) if the Pizza Hut version is any comparison. Next time we're going to Uno's or Gino's in downtown.

Ginos sucks( I rank it up there with Pizza Hut)..Stay with Uno's and Giordanos..if you are going to be in the burbs of Chicago i can reccomend several pizz joints that blow away the over rated crap in the city

Bill is on to something there. I have no clue about the pizza joints you guys are talking about, but I find that the best places to eat are the mom and pop/hole in the wall/neighborhood restaurants seem to be the best.

Thanks, Bill. My girlfriend lives in Bolingbrook and works in Aurora. I think we're either staying in Lisle or Naperville one of the nights that I'll be there. The other two will be spent downtown. Thanks for the tip on Gino's. I'll steer away from that place. We're also going to hit up the Fronterra Grill on Friday night as I've heard awesome things about that place.
