Hi,

I am planning to use a pair of bookshelf as fronts and a matching center. Last weekend I auditioned polk RTi4 and RTi6 in local Tweeter store, I liked them (Did not find much difference in RTi4 and RTi6 so I will probably go with RTi4 due to its smaller size) I was just wondering how these compare with Paradigm atom monitors.

I have posted same question in avs forum as well, thought I would get some more input here, since RTi4 are on sell right now, just wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger.

Right now I own Onkyo 504 receiver and 2 Polk M10 speakers which I will move to surrounds once I get the new fronts.

Thanks
-S

i also looked at the RTi4 and paradigm atom monitors.
I decided on the RTi6 instead, while at the store they seam not to have much of a difference It did have a big difference in my house...
While I am at it, I also end up changing my center chanel form CSi to CSi5 for the very seam reason. the rti6 sounded more open bigger than the rti6 or the atom.
    good luck,

Atoms are probably going to be less taxing on your reciever... may sound darker, less harsh. I am speaking from the perspective of a music listener, so YMMV on the HT side... There, brighter sound might equal more atmosphere. Can you arrange in home tryouts? That is the only way to really know.
