I was just on ebay looking at speakers and came across the psw1000 for 225.00, does anyone know if it is a good sub? is it worth it or should I be looking for another.

Aslong as it is in good working condition, that is a steal of a deal. The psw1000 belongs with the LSi series and is the top of the line Polk subwoofer. It seems quite good to me. But I don't know everything...:)

In a nutshell, you could not get a better subwoofer for twice that price.

    Hope this helps.

Maybe so, but Sag found the PSW1000 for $225; $275 less for those keeping score. And as for "toasting" the PSW1000, that might be up for debate.
Do you hear that buzzing noise?

    No debate here.

For only $225 you can't go wrong. But as an owner of a PSW1000 I can tell you there are a number of subs that retail for less than the 1000 that will spank it.
