The fault lies with George Bush

The reason the bridge fell is because G. Bush didn't invest enough money in public transportation. There would have been more people in buses and trains and all those cars would not have to be on the bridge, adding weight and stress to the structure and causing it to fall. See what happens when you take public transportation for granted, Shame on President Bush for this tragedy .

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. We weren't ready for it. Scheduled re-release is summer 2057. It was just that good.

We're not supposed to discuss political topics. I guess I could say it another 1,000 times and it still wouldn't register.

Anyhow, anybody sure he's kidding? This is an individual who tries to impress with his username. I would have been far more impressed with it had he gotten the spelling correct. He didn't. I remain unimpressed.

    I think it`s drummingman`s fault..!

Why else would he start this thread and make such an assinign statement ?!!

he obviously doesn`t commute (why so many were on the bridge at one time), nor does he have any common sense.....

some people just look for someone to blame.....usually when they are trying to divert attention from themselves...

I think drummingman did it !!

I thought so. I was laughing when I typed it.

Sorry, there is something both pathetic and funny about a LOT of usernames. Some of these guys being such losers in their own minds, think that if they have an impressive username, or associate with a winning concept in their username, that people won't see them as losers. I have x-ray vision, and can see right through these things. On one or two other forums that I frequent, I purposely picked out the stupidest username I could think of, just to balance out the hero usernames.

    BTW ... it's not George Bush's fault.

The American infrastructure has been heading to Crapsville for quite some time.
They're building the largest concrete manufacturing plant in the world in my state; I assume the folks building it wouldn't do so unless they're aware of the government's future plans to start rebuilding our highways and bridges.

ALL parties have neglected the infrastructure.
Federal, state, local ... doesn't make a difference.
It's not a hot, one-button topic that can get someone elected to or booted from office.

To be sure, the money going to Iraq could be spent here on roads, bridges, etc.
    No arguing that pont, IMO.
Ditto during the 60's, except substitute Vietnam.
Ditto during the 50's, except substitute North Korea.

Whether that would have been a wiser choice is debatable.
