I am looking for a mono CD for use as a testing cd. I would like to find something with clear vocals, string instraments, winds, and piano.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks
Ben

I have an old Sheffield Sound Lab test cd at home. I'll check tonight and see if it has any mono tracks on it. If it does I can upload it for you to dl'd or I can send a copy to you via snail mail.

H9 I would be interested in that CD as well... I have looked for a mono cd for a while now. Testing individual channels on an AVR is difficult without using the "test" tones.

I guess I could always burn a cd in 24bit mono.

    Monitor 4's surround
Frankinpolk Center (2 mw6503's with peerless tweeter)
    M10's back surround

Dayton 12" DVC w/ Rythmik 350a plate amp

When I needed mono I used to just use a y-adapter at the left output on my CDP. Not perfect but it was simple and allowed me to use cds I knew for testing.
