Want to sell this great Sonance 5150 which was there home theatre amp (http://www.sonance.com/). This amp performs very well, has been babied throughout its life, and it is a high currant amp that powered our LSi’s (165wpc@8ohm x 5, 200wpc@4ohm x 5). The only problem with the amp is that, the power switch (on off switch located on the front of the unit) is going bad. We’ve spoken to the Sonance folks and they indicated that it’s $45.00-$90.00 for an out of warranty repair. We should also mention that this Amp has a 12 volt trigger system (tested by us today and works well) so if you’ve got the setup, you don’t even need to use the Power on/off button. Just leave it on and the 12 volt trigger will turn it on & shut it off. This thing is heavy, 83lbs. It will come with the power cord and will be in its original factory shipping box. New this unit was $1500.00. This one is priced at $500.00+1/2 shipping (probably $50-75/2 we’ll split the shipping with you), and if you’d like to use paypal we’ll pick up the fees. This amp is a great way to get some power for those LSi’s or any other 4ohm speakers you’ve got but have been under powering! If you’re the DIY type you may be able to fix the switch yourself. FYI – the Top/enclosure has not been removed. Would also like to sell this locally in the Tampa/Clearwater/StPete Fl areas but will ship under the terms mentioned. We think this is a great deal of power at a great price.
