I just got RM6750 5.1 speakers for my receiver and I was wondering
how much better adding 2 speakers would be to obtain 7.1 sound?
Also, what speakers would be recommended out of perhaps a pair more of Single Center Channel RM6752 or Single Satelllite RM6751?
The room is have them in is 12 X 13.
I actually don't have anything hooked up yet since I am waiting for the wire and connectors to be delivered.

Also, another question is in addition to the above my receiver also supports adding an additional 2 speakers that I could place in another room in the house. What speakers would be recommended in that case? a pair or Single Satellite or a pair or Single Center Channel or one of each?

I moved the sats of RM6750 all to rear/surround, and got 2 R300s as fronts and a CSi25 as center (all 3 for $200 + tax from Frys). Sounds great! The center of RM6750 package is not being used currently, but may use it separately in another room. This worked great for me as I had little space on the back wall so hanging all the sats on the rear wall was perfect. The setup sounds great!

thanks, you got a good deal on those speakers looks like since a single R300 is now $200 at frys. p.s.what did you use to hang the sats on the rear wall? I ordered 1 pair of stands since the one side of my room has a closet and I wanted to side the side sats inward. If I put a pair of sats on the rear I am debating either a pair of stands or hang somehow on the wall either with a nail or screw through the studs or mount the sats on the wall some sort of directional thing that can be moved perhaps.
I am not sure if black stands look as nice as just mounting on the wall maybe since I got matching white wire with my white walls. The advantage of stands of course is the flexibility to adjust the height and point them where you want.
Does it matter soundwise if speakers are on the wall or on a stand?

I hooked up the the RM6750 speakers today and they sound pretty amazing to me in my 12X13 room. Volume seems to be no problem and sound quality is great. I ordered an additional 2 RM6751 speakers to bring it up to 7.1, so I am waiting for them to arrive.

Since I have a second channel for 2 speakers on the receiver for a remote room I am wondering what speakers to get for that.

Good to know u like it! I bought some cheap mounts from monoprice.com...looks fine and worked fine, and i can easily rotate / point the speakers...

If you are going to get more speakers, I recommend getting the R300 from frys.com..they went on sale for $49.99 again (+shipping), and use them in main room, and move the additional small ones you got to the 2nd room.
