Just finished the Totem sub review and look forward to the rest (esp. the Monarchy DAC/linestage update). Thanks as always for a stellar online pub!

Ok, the single column link is fixed, you may need to refresh the browser. A bit late last night when I finished, no wonder I made that stupid error!

My bro just got one of these as well as the SM70 pro's brand spanking new and I can't wait to demo the NM24 in my system. So far he is thrilled with both the Sm70 mono's and the NM24

I can't wait to hear your review... I'm rolling with a tube CDP right now (pun not intended), so I might be missing out on one of the CDP's perks by throwing a tube DAC into the mix. Or maybe I'd be doubling my pleasure?

Hopefully you'll get a chance to demo the SM70 Pro's in your system as well.

First off Nice Job again Mark!!! I continue to enjoy the issue every single month.

Zombie, that's the plan. Since I runs SDA's the mono blocks are probably out as I'd have too much DIY involved to make an AI-1 cable. So far my bro is ecstatic about the NM24 and SM70 pro configuration. This is no small feat as he had a Monarchy M33C (dac) before and an Adcom GFA-585. He is continuing to use an Adcom GFP-750 as a pre amp and then using the tube output sect of the NM24 as a dac only. Oddly teh NM24 doesn;t have balanced connections and most people agree the SM70's sound best when run in balanced single ended mono. The Adcom pre amp does have balanced connections and works great.

I hope to demo the NM24 in my sytem and if it makes the diff I think, I will be getting one myself. I'm also going to try a single SM70 run in stereo to see how that works out. I have to talk to C.C. Poon and make sure when run in stereo they are common ground.

If the SM70 won't work with my SDA's I'm looking at Pass Labs amp like the Aleph 3 or 30 or the New Aleph J (impossible to find) or maybe even spring for a used X or XA 150. Big bucks though. I've also been looking at used Classe amps (CA100, 101, 200, 201). I'm not going to rush into anything but if the NM24 is a huge improvement it's a no brainer and then I'll go from there.

Mark, both of your e-mail accounts are "temporarily disabled." I need to make contact about a potential review, and the manufacturer will be contacting you as well. If you see this, send me a PM with a good address, if you would.
