Question regarding my surround speakers?

Hello all, it has been a very long time since I have posted in this forum. I initially used this forum to research which Polk's I should buy. I am happy to say that my speakers have been running great since I purchased them. I recently moved from a condo to a house, but now have twins, so I still can't crank it up as loud as I want.

Question regarding my surround speakers. In watching 5.1 or 6.1 movies I still don't get all that much out of them. I have calibrated my system correctly, just wondering if there is anything else I should do? I forget what the knob on the surrounds are set to. Sorry for the lame question, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hank
