    Dan,

you'll really like the surrounds better once you can mount them on the side or rear walls... try and find a wood stud in the wall... and get like a 2 1/2 inch long wood screw. screw that into the stud, leaving about 1/4 inch of the head out.. and mount the speaker hole on that.. i think if I remember right.. it takes two screws.

those wall anchors won't be strong enough to hold up those surrounds for very long.

you need to point the null space on your surrounds to your ears. Right now, you've got one side of a bipolar speaker going straight into your ear.

No, 10 months until I turn 18 (April 20 actually) and they have to stop bugging me and I can do whatever I want with my room. :D

Your room in their house = their room. Be nice they will be your parents until death separates you from them. Crank it when they aren't home, and apologize when they catch you:D
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Well, here's another thought. I'm thinking that the FXi3's are a little more of a side surround speaker rather than a rear surround. Trouble is I've bought them and they can't go back. So here's what I'm thinking. Try to follow me here.

Move the FXi3's to the sides of my room. (one under the window, and the other on a wall that you can't see in the pictures.) Then move my RTi8's to the rear as the rear surrounds (I would have to put them in the corner and point them at me for that to work.) Then buy a pair of RTi10's for the fronts. This would give me a little more bass up there which would be nice since I sit right in a dead zone from my subwoofer when I am at my desk. :o

Hopefully you caught all that. So in the end, RTi10's for front, CSi5, RTi8's for rears, and FXi3's for sides. This will only cost me 1000$ dollars since they are on sale at....you guessed it, FS! :D

(FS is the only local dealer to sell RTi's)
