I watched the complete program. Having had a few friends killed in Nam and a few come back screwed up I am still interested in the WHY. I thought the program was very well reseached and very informative.

For instance there was no real civil war in Nam.

And the up and down relationship the US had with HoCheMin.

And all the counties trying to controll Nam.
Japan, China, France, Russia and the US.

    Thanks for viewing that, Bikezappa.

I didn't have any political axe to grind, but I found it a very interesting presentation, to say the least. Whoever does the Pinky series has talent.

Viewing it kind of made me think of some things; not to say it made me realize I should vote for Hillary Clinton, to be sure, but ....

......it's kind of the equivalent of a "sleeper" car. Doesn't look like much when you pull up next to it at a stoplight, but ......it's got something under the hood that you didn't expect.

    :)

    Yes Pinky does have talent.

I hope I wasn't grinding any axe also. If you watch the presentation BOTH political parties run by Johnson and Nixon make the same mistakes. They never understood the people of Nam, what they wanted and what they would die for.

The Nam war was a mess and a waste of American lives, money and time.

The reason to spend 45 minutes of your time and watch the presentation is to not let history repeat it self. I'm not saying it is, the situations are different, but you may want to check it out again.
