I totally screwed this up by placing the post for public view rather than e-mailing the seller through a PM. My bad, but there will always be a next time, and besides I have two (2) of these great racks already. I do have a Bell O 7-tier audio rack for sale if anybody is interested. This is a high-end rack, and not the single piece like the Standesign. I'm located in San Jose, CA 40-miles south of San Francisco.

Email me if interested - pics are on request at jadesystem @aol.com

I do believe that there are a few rules concerning the sale of items here
    Happy a Happy holiday..............

    Jadesystem,
I said in the post I would not ship the rack. I see you live in ca. I would have sold it to any polk audio forum participant before I would have considered selling it to anyone else. So dont beat yourself up for posting on the forum. I've had several email notices through the forum from people who are not members and I've ignored them. If I wanted to sell it to any joe i would have put it up on epay. Thanks for the bump and hope you see interest in this forum for reasons other than to sell your stuff. Happy holidays.

    Bikerboy:

I was planning on driving to Seattle next month from the SF bay area to deliver some stuff with a rented van, then pick-up your audio rack during the meet-up and exchange
upon my return. Not a big deal on this. As mentioned, I have two (2) of these fine Standesign racks. They are the best audio racks ever made. I wasn't planning to go to England for it, which is where they are made. I love the black powder-coat finish on the one-piece welded chasis frame as it is both bullet-proof and amazingly stable. It is also beautiful and finely crafted. Why just last week - and before I saw your post - I picked-up another Standesign 5-tier audio rack at a Salvation Army thrift store here in Santa Clara that just blew my mind. I bought it for $20 and is in "like new" condition. A few weeks prior, I bought a Bell O'ggetti 7-tier audio rack on Craigslist. It is constructed far different than the Standesign with all adjustable metal meshed shelving. It's also very nice, but too angled at 45-degrees rather than the straighter vertical incline/decline of the Standesign rack And because of this angle, it takes far too much room in the front and rear. I've enjoyed the Standesign rack system that I would not hesitate to buy a third system if available. I'm heavily into the vintage audio gear of yesteryear.

Thanks Bob for picking up the stand this am. Hope it works well for you and happy holidays. I guess next time I post an item for sale I will specify the polk forum members price and the non-member price. Thanks and happy holidays to all.

Not to hijack, but for any forum members that are on the East coast, I have one of these in Boston and will be moving soon. I'll give it away to a good home-- PM if you are interested.
