Can anyone tell from the pics Here if these are 1C's? If so, is that a fair price, seems a little high from the recent auctions on ebay but they look like they're in good shape.

Note his new surround sound system in the lower left pic...what a maroon.

Thanks

Look at how the speakers are placed (virtually, right angle to each other) , he doesn't need SDA :-)

Crappy photo's but they look like 1C's. Make sure the SDA cable is included and if they are in generally good shape $500 is a decent price. I assume local pick up is involved, so even if they are priced a little higher than some others recently that's worth it to audition and then transport them home yourself.

Last pair on here with x-over upgrade sold for $700.

They're local enough, about an hour away. I did ask him about the cable but I'm still waiting to hear back. If it works out, I will probably try to get up there this weekend to take a listen. Thanks for the info.

His description says they don't have a single blemish or scratch. If that's true, I'd grab em for $500, cable or not.

This is true, the cable isn't a deal breaker but a negotiation tool. A cable can be made pretty easily if he doesn't have the original.

Love the definition of "high-end" speaker. Go get them before this idiot harms them one way or another.

I would but he hasn't responded to my e-mails. I got in about a week and a half after it was posted so they're probably gone. Maybe next time.
