    How do you guys think music would sound on this using digital out with a good DAC such as a Benchmark?

    I think it would be a very good transport. I really like mine for movies and it sounds pretty decent with cds as well. Adding a good DAC could only greatly improve it.

    I guess I will be purchasing another HD-DVD player. Makes a hell of a gift for $200. Give the player to one family member / close friend, and then 5 free HD-DVDs to give away to everyone else. Tons of stuff for $200 shipped. AWESOME!
