Hey there, just wanted to share my joy. I got some new amplifiers, or at least bought them. They should be in my hands on Wednesday. I was looking for a another Denon POA-5200 to match my existing one in a custom active crossover rig that I am currently designing. I was haveing trouble finding one, but then I stumbled across a deal on another board. I got myself a B&K 7250, and a B&K 3030, for $1000 shipped. They both have their original boxes too. So I will probably sell the Denon and the 3030, and just use the 7250. I will use 4 of the channels on the front speakers, and use the 5th for the center channel.

So I think I got a bargain, given that these amps were around $3500 new. what do you guys think?

Thanks,
Alex

I'd say you did great considering I paid 1100.00 just for my 7250ii B&K! You will love that amp, I'm not sure what speakers you have but I really like it with mine. Loads of current made the RTi-10 sing, I have no urge to bi-amp them.

Thanks! I think I can get about $450 for the 3030 too. My speakers will be custom jobs, with a total of 8 6" planar tweeters and 18 6" mids. The bottom end will be taken care of by 2 12" subs. I will be running the 4 channels at 4ohms too, so the power should be pretty ridiculous.

I believe you got a very decent deal. The B&K is a very fine amplifier capable of nice tone, hope everything arrives safely and enjoy.
