looking for a 2 ohm dvc sql sub

im looking for a 2 ohm dvc sql sub for a 1 ohm load. i want to run only one sub with my power 1000 rockford amp and it needs to handle 1000 watts rms. i was looking at image dynamics idmax 12 and the cerwin vega stroker pro 12. what else is out there?

blackmax thanks for the info. i heard of all of theses except for the fi q12. how do they stack up against the others. the stereo integrity mag 12 has some really good reviews also. i like the fi q12 price!

The Fi sub is a solid sql sub. While not quite at the same level as the Mag sub, it is also hard to beat at its price point. As with the Soundsplinter sub, you get alot of sub for the money.

i read a lot of very good reviews on that mag d2! where can i get my hands on that sub! that one will fit the bill for sure. i heard of some customer service issues with image dynamics, so im steering clear of them.

i called and they said the new mag d2 will not be ready for another 2 months. i guess i will have to wait. they said they are making some improvments to it, cant wait to get my hands on one!! price point will be around $500.

the idmax is an animal of a subwoofer... go with it - it's worth it.

a former owner of 2, i can say they do live up to their expectations.
