Hey Gang:

My current setup is below in my sig...Essentially I use my Sony DVD player for both dvd and cd playback. My AVR has a bypass analog feature that allows me to listen to music via analog playback...with bass management to boot too. In any case, I maybe in the market for a new player that is good muscially, and HT. SACD and DVDA would be a plus...I'm also partial to component video connections at the moment.

I know lots of people like OPPO...but I want to hear other suggestions as well.

Used players is a good idea...I'd just have to do my research before I buy.

I do like the things I hear about Denon though...Maybe I should just buy a used dedicated CD player and continue to use my sony dvd player for just dvd's....It does a pretty decent job with the video upconversion.
