Great show! They seemed to run out of materials. I think they needed a fresh influx of writers. This show could have done well for many more years.

Always has been. She is a gorgeous woman. Almost as hot as Amy Adams, almost (as far as redheads go).

I have this in my Netflix queue, I have to at least watch it but due to all the poor reviews I dumped it from my blind-buy list.

So, just for **** and giggles, is it even worth a rental? remotely entertaining or down right awful?

ps: I am a fan of the original series.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

To me, it seemed like they had an interesting script that had nothing to do with the series, then did rewrites to cram Mulder and Scully in there. Had this movie been made on its own merits, it might have been an entertaining flick... but as an X-Files movie, not so much.

I agree with the critics on this one.

Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. Not as good as the first film but right up there, just behind it. Boy was it great to see the team back on the big screen. A very different film then what the trailers made it out to be. I really hope they make a 3rd but being this one tanked so bad I doubt it will happen, but, a thumbs up from me.

I rented out yesterday on BD. My wife and I thought it was pretty good, I think in part because of seeing the team, as Ron said. Too bad we don't get to see the cancer stick man.

I was a big fan of the X-Files show and I think "I Want To Believe" is a good but not great movie. I think most people didn't like it because it was more like a single episode rather than the story arc so many liked.

    I give it 6.5/10...YMMV

What a godawful waste of film, time and resources. Glad I redboxed it. Only cost me $1.07.

Night wasn't a total bust, also rented "Narnia, Prince Caspian" for the boys. It was a pretty good movie.

I heard about this a while back...didn't know that it was already released.

I'll have to check it out...even though it's getting bad reviews for the most part I still need to.

I have all of the seasons of the X-Files in the VHS Collectors Editions...been kinda looking to upgrade to the DVD versions eventually. I've got the movie too...so needless to say, I'm a fan. So I've gotta see it.

This 2nd Series of X-Files Movie is a TOTAL CRAP! No Plot! No Conspiracy Messages! Just TOTAL SUCK!

I am glad it's a Netflix Rental and I didn't buy it. Major Disappointment For 2008 just happened to see it in 2009.

Don't Waste Your Time! If Not For The Old Series and Movies, I would really not want to hear or see the X-Files again.

I still haven't seen this. The other day though I just busted out all of my VHS collectors editions of all the X-files episodes. I've been watching a couple episodes every night. I might have to check this out once I'm done watching all of the episodes. Despite all the terrible reviews it's gotten, I've still gotta see it. I've always been a huge fan of the X-files.
