I'm finishing my basement and have a small, dedicated 7.1 HT. Approx 12'X15'.

I will have an approx. 90" screen with projector. My front speakers are the RT55i bookshelf on stands and my center is the 400i (I think) that I'll have on a stand. I have an SVS 2531 sub.

Anyway, I'm having a hard time choosing the in wall in the side and rear surrounds. I'm thinking the TC or LC265i for side surrounds, and the TC or LC65i for rear.

Also, the LC65FX looks good. I was thinking maybe these for the side and the LC65i for the rears.????? Cheapest place to find the LC65FX???
If I could do it over I think I would have dome in wall for the fronts too. I do have a pair of the FX500i (I think that's the name-wedge shape..for sale) surrounds, but I need to go in wall.

Any suggestions? Thanks a lot. I need to purchase ASAP.

First thing, welcome to Club Polk.

I think the TC265i or TC65i would be a better timbre match than the LC's. Maybe someone else can chime in on a better match with the Tri-laminate tweeters in your 55's. Good luck.

Well, I think I've settled on the TC265i for my l/r side surrounds and the TC65i for the rear center surrounds. Getting all 4 for $775 shipped. I think that's a pretty dang good deal.

    What say you?
