Speaker wire, which side is positive/negative?

i have speaker wire with one side with a stripe, the other not. which side is the standard for negative or positive? Thanks

It doesn't matter, just wire all your speakers the same.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

The trick is to always be consistant.
I always use the stripe side as my positive.
But as russ said, doesn't matter what you use for + or - as long as you are always consistant.Television: Mitsubishi WD-57732
