$99 Toshiba HD-DVD?

Supposedly, Toshiba is selling their HD-A2 HD-DVD player starting July 22nd for a one week period for $99.

Not only that, but you'll get 3 FREE HD-DVDs as well...

Don't know about you guys, but if this is true, I'll be grabbing one for myself, and a couple for ebay :D

    I'll get one as well. I'd rather have a stand alone player than go thru my 360 for HD DVDs.

    I sure hope that deal isn't just for attendees; that would nullify any plane ticket costs :eek:

    This is correct and is actually written on the marketing materials for the pricing. Not sure why it was lost when the fury of news articles came out about it....
