Bipole/dipole
I will be getting the LSifx's soon. What is dipole/bipole and what should they be set at in a 16x22 room with the fx's mounted on the side wall(22ft.) about 2 feet over my head pointed slightly downward. Thanks.

Bipole gives you a more direct sound because the drivers are in phase. Dipole gives you a more diffuse sound. The drivers will be out of phase(when one side pushes out, the other goes in). The best results are usually having them on the side wall beside you 6ft off the ground. You should really experiment with their placement and use the one that sounds best to you.
Good luck

Thanks Maurice,
My planned placement will be about what you said. I will use the setting that sounds best for music. I have the center and should be getting the 15's,fx's and 9's by next Friday. I am retiring next Friday so I will have plenty of time to experiment with them. Thanks for the info.
