I'm looking into getting a TT. Doesn't have to be the best out there but a decent one w/ a good tone arm and cartridge. I'm looking in the 200$ usd range.

I have 2 boxes of vinyl that I wish to use.

Unless someone has a used Pro-ject debut, about the only less than 30yo in that price range is going to be at Best Buy or Circuit City.
    2-channelBelles 22A Pre, Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2, Marantz SA8005, Pro-Ject RPM-10 Turntable, Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3B, Polk Audio Legend L800's, AudioQuest Cable throughout.

I can get you into a Thorens 125MKII with an SME3009 arm, and I'll throw in a Grado Black for $500.

$200 is going to be tough for something decent, check out local Audiogon listings.

The Thorens and the "smee" for have a kilobuck could last someone a lifetime... hard to beat for $500; impossible to beat if the arm's in fine condition. A Grado Black is a bit of underkill, but it'd sound fine for starters and actually be a decent match for the low-mass SME arm.

Sorry I don't know much about TTs and their price. I'll consult with the better half re:$$ and I'll get back to you RuSsMaN.

If $500 is too much, and I apologize in advance if I'm blowing a sale for you RuSsMaN, try the demo section at Music Direct. They've had a Pro-ject Debut III on there the last couple of times I checked for around $260. As far as I know they come with all the manufacturers warranty; I've also heard tales of them substituting new stuff when they can't come up with a demo. I've enjoyed mine so far, it'll be a few upgrades before it's the limiting factor in my set up.
