Woot! Got my Outlaw monoblocks in today!

Oh man, they really make the lower 3 7" drivers in the RTI12's sing! I ended up setting the Onkyo Amp on the top of the rti12's and then using the outs on it to go to the Outlaws for the bottom. Makes my 2 speaker setup sound amazing and full stereo in 7.1 sound awesome! I had a guy visit the house today from my sons boy scout group. I didn’t know he was in the house with my wife but I caught him in front of my theater saying "This is the GOD room" (I have my PC's setup in the same room). That made me feel good, like it was all money well spent. Besides the fact that I cranked the Onkyo receiver up to 85 and could hear it down the road :)

    Congrats! I almost bought the RTi12's since I had the 6's ready for rear duty but Tweeter had the LSi15's marked way, way down so I went that direction instead.

    I can only imagine what those 12's sound like driven with the mono's for home theatre or cranking out Nine Inch Nails.

    Congrats Silver. I had 5 of them and they are nice.

    Cathy, I am starting to see your point, I had an amp rated at 199 watts that sounded like crap, I sent it back for an upgrade to 200 and WOW, what a difference! :D

    Silverti thats a nice setup you have guy. A few pointers, it appears that you have a little more space to work with, try to widen your soundstage a tad bit by spreading the 12s further apart with a slight toe-in. Surely you will notice a difference. Everything looks great though, Im running the 12s also with my Sony 7100es driving the top/outlaw monos on the bottom. So I can agree with what youre experiencing. Enjoy.

    HAAAA!!! Then what chance does my 195wpc amp have? Might as well power my speakers with a pair of 9volt batteries.
