I thought it was very good. When you think about the normal first episode and noone is really in the charater yet - I expect great things from the season.

Yeah, pilots always feel rushed, because not only do they have to introduce the main characters and the story, but also get people hooked enough to come back. I thought it was pretty good, and think it will get better.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

It was very rushed, disjointed, & they were trying to give us too much information at once. It was hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. And at the moment, I don't particularly care for any of the characters.

I will try to continue watching it, but I can only suspend my disbelief for so long.

The pilot was definately "meh" in my book. It was fortunate nothing else was on so I watched the whole eppisode. I'll give it maybe two more weeks before I tune out for good (If it doesn't get better)

+1000 way to rushed. It felt like watching Heroes but with only 1 character.

I didn't like it very much, nothing really stood out for me. I get the sense it'll be hard to develop into an appealing show.

Also tried "Life" and was equally unimpressed, although it looks like it could grow. "Reaper" was pretty well done in a silly way.

The more I think about it , the more I agree with you. The only interesting character was Bad Bionic Woman. I am going to give it a few goes though. I thought that Life thing sucked. Too bad because I really like Sarah Shahi.

Starbuck wasn't the only character from the new "BSG" on the "Bionic Woman". I saw at least 2 more....Chief Tarol(sp?) and someone else...just can't remember which one. I guess there's a few of the producers/writers from Battlestar involved with both shows. Seeing that the next season for BSG doesn't start til January, it gave them plenty of free time to do other shows.

I think the show will settle down into a decent production.

Did anyone catch dude from "Rome" in "Journeyman"?

Actually what I think they do is any shows that are filming in Vancouver, they use the actors to go back & forth between series.

When Forever Knight was on as well as Kung Fu The Legend Continues, I was constantly seeing the actors cross over from their show to the other.

I actually liked this week's better than last. A little less rushed, the brunette showed a little more personality.

I think I am getting nervous about the writing. It was pretty bad IMO.

I agree about the writing this week, only I thought it was worse than "pretty bad" in some scenes.
The new Jamie is growing on me. Probably the interaction with her sister.

It was a bit more cohesive this week. As far as the writing goes, you have to remember that this show is aimed at people a lot younger than us.

If the 6MDM & BW ever get released on dvd & we get them, we will be doing a whole lot of wincing as well over the cheesy dialog!

What I have discovered is that shows that I thought were just dynamite back then, have me cringing now. Very few shows stand up well to the test of time.

Our life experience has given us the knowledge that the BS that they spout in shows is very rarely how it turns out to be in the real world.

Jury is still out for me, I will also give it a couple more weeks.

I will admit that I like the little sound effect homage to the original series.

I will give it a couple of weeks also. I am interested to see if the original Bionic Woman (ta da) is truly bad or not.

Well I don't know about you Darla, but after last nights episode I'm ready to throw in the towel!

There isn't one likable, redeeming character on this show! None can be trusted, none can be taken at thier word.

They use & abuse people for thier own ends & abuse thier power to boot.

I don't know about you, but if I found out what Jamie found out last night, I wouldn't have been sitting quietly in his office, I would have been tearing his head off and putting it on a stick! He'll fix it...yeah right.

I'm glad Sarah killed Will, at least he can't go around stalking other women to change them into something that is just going to kill them 5 yrs down the line.

I watched it the last 2 weeks, kind of BLAH, predictable. Robo-girl gets sent on mission after mission to save the world as we know it, and to pay off the mortgage on her new parts. Yada, yada....the whole "we saved you, so you owe us" thing going on.

The thing I don’t like about it is all the recycled NBC stars in it. Hell, even the sets are almost straight from the show that ended last year "Saving Jordan" (and even the actor). Then there’s the guy they booted off Greys Anatomy for his anti-**** statements. Then of course there’s Star Buck :)

I still think the show is ok and Ill watch it but I don’t think its being done as well as it could. It wont have a long shelf life.

I thought the pilot sucked, but I watched it this weekend based on what a couple people here said. Yawn, I turned if off after 30 minutes. I just didn't care about the story or characters. Towel thrown.

    Yup. That's her real accent.

She seemed much more human with it. They should have just let her have it the entire series.
