Looking for a pair of Totem Arro in maple, and also maybe some Model 1, Dreamcatcher, or Mites in cherry.

I'm stalking ebay and A-gon as well....

    Eek....
I've sold two pairs in maple over the last year. Bad timing I guess.
Good luck as it is an excellent speaker.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Yeah I did a search and read about your experiences and sales. I was hoping you still had a pair and wanted to sell.. ;)

Nah... this well's run dry. I'll keep an eye out for ya. Just make sure you're not trying to fill a large room. And that you have some muscle behind them (4ohm/87db)... and don't expect earth shattering bass from a 4 1/2" driver. What bass is there (supposedly clean down to 40hz with proper room placement and mass loading) is exceedingly musical and articulate. Imaging is second to none.

    Good luck.

I just demoed a pair at lunch, this is why I'm now looking for them! It was a small room and they were placed relatively close to a wall, and they were excellent. I was very surprised at the bass response from such a little cabinet/speaker.

I have some Dynaudio Contour S1.4 on the way to the house. I plan to do a shootout and see which I like better in my home office...

Not to muddy your thread, but what gear did you hear them mated with?
    Ayre? Arcam?

And you're right about their bass response. I actually didn't mass load mine, because it was supposedly to the detriment of the speaker's ability to image (however slightly). Still... the bass was uncanny from such a small driver. I think the speaker's quickness may give the illusion of more bass. At the very least, it's quality -- no doubt about that.

    B&K Reference.

And yes, clear, audible bass at 40-50hz from those tiny little things. Freakin amazing.

What's also amazing is that there are a lot of people out there running these speaks with amps and sources costing 10 times as much. I never had the chance to hear it for myself, but supposedly the Arros will keep pace all the way up the food chain. The gift that keeps giving and all that jazz.

I imagine that if I ever find myself in possession of some truly high-end gear, I might just "slum it" and reacquaint myself with the Arros to see if all the hype is true.
