Quick Crossover Question

Greetings. Just a quick question on crossover. My setup is as follows, Sony STRDA4ES Rec, with preamp outs to Emotiva LPA-1 amp. Sony ES model cd changer.....I think its the 80ES. All LSI series around with the fronts being LSI 15's and the rears LSI/FX. Sub is HSU VTF3MK2 with receiver sub crossover set to 60hz. I am pleased with the sound but just found that I have control of the crossover on the speakers as well from the receiver. When I go through the menu the front, center, and rear are set to standard which I believe is 120hz. Does this sound like a standard config or should I be looking at setting my speaker crossovers to a different setting? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

That sounds pretty normal to me. You might want to turn the crossover on the sub a little bit to make sure that you dont have any gaps. It might be hard to tell the difference, but grab a CD with some bass that goes all over the place and start playing around with it. There is no harm in some experimentation.

Also, can you change the crossover settings in the Sony?

Thanks. The crossover setting I'm talking about for each speaker are in the menus on the Sony receiver. It is also where I have the sub crossover set at.....I tried for awhile at 80hz but found 60hz a little cleaner sounding overall.
