Miami....here we come!

The date for our cruise is getting closer. We're driving down to Miami, and after the cruise, we're taking our sweet time to drive back. I've never been to Miami, so if any of you "Miamians" have any suggestions or "must do-must see" while we're down there, let me know. We wouldn't mind visiting with fellow Polkies and listen to some music either.

Open to suggestions.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot....the ship gets back on Saturday, August 4th.

    Two words. South Beach.

    Other than that Miami has the usual tourist traps. Parrot Jungle, Seaquarium etc.

    South Beach...yep, it is now on the list. But specifically, what do I avoid or must see, in South Beach?

    It's a strip really and I haven't been there in years. I would avoid the places where you see guys dressed in leather and assless chaps......unless you are into that sorta thing.

    Damn, I havent worn chaps in years...

    Lots of stuff to do Joe for all ages. The good thing is that it is not in season, so the traffic and lines should be less. It really depends on what you are into, but you can expect pretty much of anything. Just do not speed because Darla will bust your candyass. They leave me alone in my 79' Chevette.
