Entech Number Cruncher 203.2

Cool little D/A converter, made a pleasant difference on an AMC CD8B. 20Bit Delta Sigma, low Jitter circuitry, yadda yadda. Original box. $old phuz

Yaqin Tube Buffer

Neat, simple peice - uses 6J1 or 6AK5/EF95 tubes. Place between preamp and amp, or between a single source and preamp to put that 'tube' signature on the sound. DaveMuell has dibs for 24 hours - he showed interest in the thread I bought it in (here). $old DaveMuell

Polk Monitor 7

Looks like a B, but has the Peerless dome. Great condition, about as clean as they come. Every hardcore Polk enthusiast should have a pair. Local p/u only - $60

Polk Monitor 4a

Great small vintage Polks for a garage rig. Cabs have some marking, but complete and sound great. Local p/u only - $20

Lead Balloon Turntable Stand

Dedicated turtable stand, approx 3ft in height with moveable solid lead bars for isolation. Very popular before lead was so 'dangerous'. Don't let your kids chew on it. Local p/u only - $50

DefTech DR7 Speakers

Slim socked floorstander. Simple two way transmission line design. Great sounding, good condition - missing one piano black top cap (available from DT for $70 last I checked). Local p/u only - $60

Custom Folded Horn Subwoofer

Long throw Eminence 12 inch woofer loaded in a vintage Electrovoice Marquis folded horn cabinet. Great sounding subwoofer, and one of a kind. No amp / crossover - any run of the mill 100/150w plate amp would work great with it. Local p/u only - $old DaveMuell

Polk RC65i Inwall Speakers

Used, but pristine condition. Great 2-way inwall (pair). $old Sami

I've got a handful of tube peices in unrestored condition - Dynaco PAS ($old Keith), Stromberg Carlson 6L6 monoblocks ($150), a few Fisher FM tuners ($40 each), Marantz receivers ($25 each), etc etc - the garage is getting cleaned out, period. I've also got some decent speaker stands Lovan, etc ($30/pair). I'm half tempted to dump it all in a garage sale this weekend, so local guys, get over here get it while you can. Flippers more than welcome. I just want it gone, and my sanity back (not to mention being able to park at least ONE car in my two car garage).

    Nothing to tell, bring your checkbook and come on over. It working, I think it's just missing some 12ax7. I'd have to look, it may or may not have new ps caps in it.

    Do you have some stands for the 7's? I might grab the 7's for my daughters rig - she likes the Phase Techs, but is always willing to try stuff.

    How would you compare the 7's to those Phase Techs? Will the tube buffer play nicer with one or the other of these?

    I can't say on the tube buffer as far as which speakers will sound better. I do have some older Spendor SP1 stands I could sell with the Monitor 7's - but they will add another $40.

    George, not really. At least you had some organization and clear path from one end to the other. I will admit, I've never seen gear stacked on the CEILING - that's a neat trick.

    I know Russ would like these out of his house before the weekend is over and I'm not going to be able to get them until next week. If anyone wants to grab them go for it, especially if you have a good use for them. I just want them to check out another sound...I'll have to make a place for them.
