Okay,,here we go; Crossovers were upgraded with Sonicaps,Mills Resistors, also replaced the inductors on both boards.Binding posts and interconnect replaced with Vampire BP-Hex.Comes with the pin/blade cable in case you choose to revert back to it.The caps have a few scratches and a "small ring" on one which should be visable in the pics. Sonically they are outstanding, about the only upgrade left would be the RDO tweeters.Cosmetically,if you want these to be close to pristine, then the grill cloth could be replaced if you choose and the caps refinished/veneered. I'll ship if I need to,but would prefer a local pickup,I'm also not opposed to holding these for awhile,if necessary. Thanks for looking.

WOW! What a deal! There are at least $300 in parts for the upgrades in those things. Somebody should snap these up. Good luck with the sale George!:)

Not that this needs a bump but................my recently aquired 1C's have the same mods (and RD0's) and these are very special SDA's. So anyone on the fence get off your a** and buy these you won't regret it.

Do a search, many feel the 1C's are among the top 3 in sound of all the SDA's produced. With the Sonic caps and then adding the RD0's you will have one helluva nice sounding speaker.

    george,

I have had both speaks and although I loved my 1C's and have a set at Jesse's waiting on me they are just not in the same game as the Amazings, believe me, you want to spend sometime with them.

since the 1980's i have always lusted over the SDA's.i was young and i could not afford them back then. i have wanted SDA 1C's since i got back into the Audio scene about 3 and a half years ago and i always missed out and they were sold before i could get a pair of them. these 1C's are even more special to me because the crossovers,SDA connections and binding posts were improved/Modded by a good buddy of mine.i will get a quad of the RDO silk dome tweeter's for them in the very near future. these SDA 1C's are keepers and i will never sell these speakers.thanks George....WCW III

These are back,, as the buyer had some unexpected fininacial necicities pop up,which I fully understand and support. With that said, and subsequently NO hard feelings, these are back in the FM,,as stated before local pick up is preferred,I'll hold em if needed,,or I'll ship,,keep in mind that it's gonna add 150-200 to ship these. Thanks for looking,,and I'll not bump this,,if they don't sell in a week or two,,oh well. :)

I am interested, but would like to discuss a few things with you first. Possible trade being one of them.
