The Amp comes with the original packaging and will be shipped insured from a pet and smoke free home. I have the original packaging but not the manual which can be found here. Accepting Paypal (add 1.5%) money order, or personal check from buyers who have verifiable good feedback here or Agon. Must have at least 50 posts.
Description:
This amp is a 5 channel HT powerhouse. I purchased this on the recommendations of many members of the forum when I asked for a high power cool running 5ch amp.
I actually went as far as to use a temperature probe on the unit and it runs 90* on the top plate with a room temperature of 80*. Even after two hours of use it only got up to 95* even though the room got up to 83*. Compare this to my Cinenova which I feel is a cool running amp, and ran 95* idle and 107* after use.
This unit is much less common since it is only 17in wide when the standard for Sunfire is 19in. This unit is also shorter by half an inch as compared to a standard sunfire, but it is deeper. This is the reason I purchased it even with the cosmetic issues.
This is a Series II which means that it is 225wpc into a 8ohm load instead of 200. Many people advertises theirs as 225wpc but they are not, they are only 200wpc. Look at the configuration of the binding posts on mine vs other sunfires to see the difference, or look at the front plate in the lower left where it says Series II.
* 225 watts rms continuous per channel, all channels driven into eight ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with no more than 0.5% T.H.D.
* 450 watts rms per channel into four ohms
* 900 watts rms per channel into two ohms – time- limited basis
* Two output options: current source for a warmer, more open tube sound or voltage source for all the tight response this awesome solid state amplifier can deliver
* Intrinsic frequency response one Hz to 80 kHz
* Signal present auto-on switch
* Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs
* High-quality five-way binding posts
* 17" wide, 5.9" high, 16.7" deep (to tips of connectors).
Thanks.
Jared

Calling all LSi owners this is the Amp that will make your speakers sing. If you add up all the money it cost for 2 - 2channel amp and 1- mono amp with this wattage you will be over a grand.engtaz
I love how music can brighten up a bad day.
