So I ordered 35' cables for my theater basement
35' HDMI
35' Composite
35' S-Video
Now what I did was moved the future mount spot of my projector back by about 4 feet (14 to 18). I ran the 35 cables just now and it is damn close. The cables look like they will go right into the projector fine but on the other end, they may only stick 1' out of the wall. I *may* need to buy something like 3' extenders for each to reach my equipment. Tell me the news here; if I do buy 3' extenders, you think it will affect quality?
More bad news is that those cables were WAY to thick for the tube I put in to hopefully run future upgrades. Bad news man, I had to pull the damn tube. Just those cables and the 2 cat5e practically fille up the pop outs that are in my floor joices.
Ug, I hope HDMI lasts a long arss time.
In any case, I’m going to drop 2 cat5E cables through it just in case (I can get a ton from work any ways.

bummer - any chance you can modify where you place the equipment to give you more room? Other than that - I would just try to sell the cables and order new ones the correct length.
Sorry for the bad news - but if you are going to do it.......
MichaelMains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -
Since Im built the projector mount today, I moved it to 17' instead of 19' so it freed up another 2 feet on the flip side. Im safe on a 137" screen as long as Im farther then 15 back.Testing
