It does 80 clean H/K watts into 8 Ohms and it also decodes Dolby Digital 5.1 surround.

Please keep in mind that the HK's don't do 4 ohms particularly well, but the make a great entry level pre pro. I have an outlaw 990, and the performance per dollar is better than the outlaw.
