Hi folks,

There is a pair of S6 speakers that have come up on eBay Oz, for $50 AUD (approx $42.80 USD), finishing in 16 hours with no bidders to date. The picture isn't downloading from eBay and the Polk site doesn't have a picture either. I did a forum search on these speakers, but there was no results returned.

I know Polk stuff is the best :D , but has anyone had any experience or owned these? Only want them for a small 2 channel rig. Any info on these would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

they are worth that to me.

s6 is a two-way with a PR. these are the plastic ones that kind of look chintzy, but in reality, sounded pretty good for the dough. a friend in college had the s10 which has a bigger driver and PR (which incidentally was clear and shiny and looked cheap, lol). they sounded excellent in the small-ish room with some version of yamaha receiver, but college life was a little hard on them. seems like these were from the early 90's or so?
i almost picked up an inexpensive pair of s8 not too long ago, but they were only in fair shape, and i couldnt bring myself to bite. good sound, though.

    Thanks honda cber  ,

For $50, I can't go wrong (if their condition is OK). I've asked the seller a question about the overall condition, so I'll await his response.
