    You just need an SL2000 period. It doesn't matter what model.

    Unless you are on a budget, I would suggest the SL2000 replacement, the Polk Audio RD-0194. It's a much better tweeter. Club Polk members get a discount, mention it when ordering....otherwise, look on eBay for a rotten SL2000.

    Used SL2000 tweeters are hit and miss. I just sold some. I charged accordingly. 1 pair sounded great! I mean I wouldn't have been very inclined to upgrade them. The other 3 pair worked well, but sounded shrill in the high end. I have bought a ton of used drivers, and in the end after paying for shipping, and getting bad drivers I should have just bought new.

    I have a set of the peerless tweets if your interested , that i would trade for a set of ls 70 tweets the trilaminates one with the round mounting. They fit my s-8's perfect and sound better too boot.

    The Peerless tweeter wouldn't do him any good on a pair of CRS+. The SL2000 and Peerless are not equal replacements.

    I'm sure there are difference's in used sl2000's, but they all have a +5dB spike at about 13kHZ so that's their main weakness and the RD0194 (silk dome) replacement tweeter is superior to any sl2000 regardless of age. A pair of the RD0's will transform your CRS+'s. If you can swing the $102 (pr) this is the best solution sonically.
