I need to move my speakers closer together. That means I need to unload my audio rack to move it on the other side of the speaker. To do all this I need to clean up the living room so I have space to set all this crap but I gotta cut the grass first. Dishes and laundry really need to come first. I REALLY have to have my car inspected before I get into anything else though. Toilet started leaking water out of the tank too. Oh, and paint the house... Jeesh, I'm lookin' at six months here...

Man that is alot of work to get done. Make sure you get your priorites straight and work on the speaker placement first.

Max -- save yourself six months of hard work and leave those speakers right where they are.

    Voice of prudent reason....

go take care the rest first, Chuck. Blast the music of Nelly while you're painting, that would get you going fast (either that, or you might experience the urge of dropping by your local pole dancing bar! :)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

enjoy the music, easy come, easy go, little high, little low, nothing really matters..............just move the speaks, let the grass grow and the paint peel, you can buy paper plates cheap, even the good ones.

    Amen Ted!

Max, go on line and buy yourself some nice 200 gr. vinyl, move the big boys, and forget about the plumbing.

PS, this is why I like the bass braces instead of spikes on my big SDA's. They can be moved without putting yourself in grave danger with those booby traps on the bottom of SRS's.

I don't believe MAx HAS a family to negatively impact the timely accomplishment of those tasks.

I'd have all that **** done in an afternoon, even with the wife and Stephie.

Something most people don't understand is that single people do what they want, when they want and how they want.

With that said, I started my list of getting things done. I went from the most important first to the least important and think this will take care of at least my biggest concerns.

    1. Pile livingroom crap in the corner
    2. Gently move electronic components, dust and do maintainence.
    3. Move speakers
    4. Vacuum under components
    5. Gently replace components
    6. Wire system back up
    7. Let burn in for a day
    8. Critique performance level and make adjustments
    9. Perform critical listening
    10. Re-evaluate list to see if I've forgotten any other original tasks or functions necessary for day to day living
