hey guys, i tried selling these over on the car forums i'm usually on....no luck so i figured i'm come to the source...
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=483984

up for sale are some speakers i bought for my car almost 2 years ago...they are not the newest model obviously, but are pretty much brand new as i only pulled them out to test fit in my car....never actually hooked up the amp b/c i didn't know how to wire it without taking my interior apart.........in the the pics, you will see that i took the grill off to make sure that the speakers would fit in the doors (which they do with ease)...i even made some mounts for them so all you have to do is plug and play.......they are 6.5" speakers and the amp is c300.2...you can find the specs for all this stuff on www.polkaudio.com

looking for $200 pickup locally in ny/nj........shipping will be extra.....feel free to contact me regarding any other questions....here are some pics

my email is rl33@hotmail.com

the mounts are for an e46 3 series......you'll different ones for other cars obvously....and also, one of the crossovers will have silicone as i mounted it expecting to install these but never got around to it...

Well, to his credit he did post regarding these speakers two years ago. Then, nothing. Not sure if a welcome back is in order, or not...probably not.

I know perhaps a bit harsh, but I get so sick of this crap. I suppose he has just as much right to participate in this manner as the rest of us. Karma will take care of him ;)

say what you guys want, i'm just offering these to a bunch of guys that might actually appreciate them for what they are instead of the people on the forums i go to who think you need to pay top dollar for good sound aka diamond audio, focal, etc.....IMO, i thought these sounded great, but i'm not so good at the DIY and have decided to pursue other mods to my car......if you are interested fine, if not, fine as well.......i understand my post whoring in one day might not sit well with some of you guys, but i wanted to put these up for sale ASAP......but acting the way some of you guys are makes me wonder how people actually stay on this site....

We're just watching out for the "family." I'm sure you could appreciate it IF you weren't here only to peddle your gear. Don't get me wrong, a 300.2 and components for $200 is a great price but you'd need to show you're here for the site more than to sell used gear.

understood, but between working and looking on another forum, i honestly don't have the time.....i was unaware of the etiquette required to sell things on this site...
i see stuff like this happen on the car sites i go on.....i just don't think anything of it other than a guy trying to sell something whether is has been a member for a long time or not...i guess you guys view it differently....i cna respect that

Nice how you only respect it when you try and **** your goods. All I did was try and warn you and got your snotty attitude. Unaware of the etiquette? Maybe if you listened instead of attacking anyone who told you...

Nope. And most other members won't want to buy them either. You lost a lot of potential interest and goodwill by gearing your first posts to selling your stuff. Most people here expect a member to contribute before posting one-liners for an hour and going for people's cash. If you want to sell stuff to other members here in the future, I'm just giving you some good advice, hang around and contribute first...

thank you, genius...i'm not newb to forums....unfortunately, i don't spend that much time on this one so i had to boost up my count to sell these speakers which i'm sure everyone else noticed already....and for the record, these speakers are in brand new condition and for the price i'm selling it for, you won't find a better deal around....but if pretending to be the forum police makes you feel better at the end of the day, by all means continue your duty, sir...as you can see i was only toying with you the first few replies i had just to get a good rise out of you and i'm sure i did....have a nice day...you sure you do'nt want these speakers??:p

i actually respect people that respect me.....after reading your initial response, it seemed like you were talking down to me...but after re-reading it, it seems as if you were actually trying to be helpful....reading something on a forum sometimes can be misleading...so if you weren't trying to talk down on me, i apologize....

as for mrnightly, his behavior is totally uncalled for...calling me chopsuie is rather ignorant and racist if you ask me.....

I don't know Mr. Nightly, but I'm pretty sure it was a play on words concerning your screen name, not an ethnic slur. I think most rational people would assume the same thing....and wouldn't try to bring the "race card" into the Flea Market.

Man, I leave for a minute and look what I miss?!? Racial slur? Surely you jest. Please, explain how I racially slurred you.. someone I know nothing about. I don't know your race, age, sex, nationality, anything... yet I was a racist? That's great.

I do know that you spammed a bunch of posts to **** your goods... you have seemed to recover fairly well, as an adult would... but still... a spammer in my book, is a spammer.

If we don't watch out for our own, who will?
