Please no "dibs"

Here is a great sounding pair of speakers, I got these local and was going to change the socks out, not just for the color, but there are a couple of tears and a some little girls dirty hands prints. BUT THEY SOUND AWESOME. I never even called Vandersteen to check the cost, and these are not too awful looking in the room. I have the boxes and these have the Vandersteen stands.

I can ship this week if somebody is interested, again I will be gone on vacation 7/7 - 7/14.

    I believe that the "new" socks are fairly wide ranging in regards to actual model, since they cinch. The last price I recall is $35/pair but I'm sure its a tad higher these days.

    Hmmm.....I had the 2Ce signatures before I downsized for my move up north. My intent was to replace them with something comparable later but I've been surprisingly happy with the Klipschs. I am mildly interested though.

    I really miss my Vandy 2's. Damn good price for them. high quality sound for little dough. someone should really give these a shot.

    I called Vandersteeen, the girl told me they did not sell the replacement socks, I would have to buy the material from my dealer and make them myself.

    How hard would it be to sell them ready to go??

    So I would plan on getting some material from anywhere, and make these yourself, this is if you even care too, they are not tooooo bad.

    I like the RTA series, and love the SDA series, but these are a a step up in my opinion. This model has been in production for 30 years and still gets great reviews, this is a very solid speaker design.

    You can bring them to the fest if you like, someone is sure to want these with such a terrifically great price especially since you have the sought after stands, if not we can work something out, I cannot really understand why they are still available.

    Probably not.

    What you might want to do is go to your local library, check out news papers from 2-3 years ago, then search through all the classifieds and start calling people up.
