How do you mount surround speakers on the stands?

Basic question... I really don't want to drill any holes in the bottoms of my R15's. I also don't like the idea of permanently pasting velcro strips....

very carefully. most conventional stands are not intended to support the weight of both the speaker and some speakersex-crazed slobbering audiophile attempting to uh,mount(?) them.
