Best way to hang LsiC on a wall?
Whats the best way to mount an LsiC on drywall? I doubt I have studs where I need to mount it.
Thanks.

how bout those heavy duty drywall hangers?

I used two #10 wall anchors because I didnt have studs available exactly where I wanted to mount the center channel. #10 wall anchors were suggested in the LSiFX/LSiC manual, and they work fine.

Thanks.

I assume you are planning to hang it from the power port on the back? When I hung my LSi7's that way, it really screwed up the bass. (made it quite boomy) - have you noticed any issues with the LSiC when mounted this way?
(I ended up using a btech stand to mount my LSi7's on and they sound much better that way)

Where might I find a btech stand?

They sell them here on polk audio - crutchfield also sells them. They clamp the speaker from the sides. I am not sure it will work with the LSiC. (you could try and rotate the base 90degrees so it is clamping front and back...)
You can see what they look like mounted in my showcase. (click on the quote in my signature)Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)

Any idea which part of the Bass becomes boomy when using the powerport hangers? i.e. would this be an issue using an 80hz crossover, or do were you using 60hz or no crossover? My Iron Man training/charity blog.

Thanks for the links. I'll try using the wall anchors first. If that doesn't work I'll look into a bracket.

That is the same route I took with my 7's.
Good luck.
