Atriums

I've been looking around eBay and I was just wondering why no one seems to sell Atriums used like they do so many other Polks. I don't want to pay the full new price because the location I am going to put them is more exposed than is ideal (not much roof over them) and I am not sure how long I should expect them to last.

If your question is why you don't find them used....maybe it's because people like them and don't feel the need to upgrade?

If your question is if they will stand the weather even if uncovered, they will; I have a pair of 55's and after two years of rain/sun/snow they sound as good as the first day.

They sound great too.

Thats the kind of response I was hoping for. I like the way they sound I am just unsure as to how well they will hold up in the weather. So far from what I have heard they should be fine though.

Believe it or not, Crutchfield's even cheaper then Fry's. Offering free shipping to boot.

You're right. Fry's did have the White 45's for $129 last week, while the blacks were $179, so maybe the whites were a pricing error??

I have 5 pair of the atrium45's running off a Adcom GFA-555 and GFS-6 and I love them. Incredible bass response given the size of the driver. And this is out in the open air on my deck.

Fry's has had the white's for $99 for a long time. They must have just raised the price. That's a bummer.
