Vocal Height

I really do not know where to post these questions.

My vocals on some, not all recordings, are very focused in the center @ 6 feet off the floor. What is the factor(s) that is responsible for that? I find this to be true for both my SDA 2B's and RTA 11t's. They have similar drivers yet vastly different configuration yet yeld a similar result.

How do the vocals elevate @ 2 feet above the top of the speaker cabinet?

I have been using the fact that my SDA's create this focused vocal to tweak the toe of my non SDA speakers. Is this proper way to establish the correct toe?

Thanks

Scott
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
