The title says it all, I just bought the damn thing from someone here, and due to being bent over both financially and living situation wise, I have no use for it....I never even plugged the damn thing in....I'll charge actual shipping....This may only be the start of things to come...:(

He paid me immediately and we had great communication throughout the entire transaction. Something is not right, but its not that he's **** you, I seriously doubt it.

Hey screenname, I have known Bill for some time now and this cat is a good man. I have been wondering myself what's going on with him because he has been a frequenter on another forum I hang out on and we haven't seen a lick of him for about the same time.

I'm just wondering if all is OK with him at this point. The move was unforeseen and sudden with him. He had to put his side business on hold as well.

I'm sorry that you have to wait, but after him serving in the military and knowing his character, I have to say that this is quite un-normal.

In the meantime, I'll see if I can't find his phone # somewhere. I'll also dig up what I can on the other forum.

I remember him saying he was moving. Just hope he's OK. Last person that went silent, we found out later they were in the hospital.

I really doubt that you will get screwed on this. Bill is/was very busy but he has always been honest. It took me 5 weeks to get the speaker cables I bought from him, but I actually believe he simply forgot to ship them is all in my case. You also have to realize that at times being in the military people get called to go places and do things without warning. and this may simply be the case here so dont abandon hope yet.

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Thanks to all for the reassurances. He said he would ship this week and apologized for the delay: this was last week.

I am sure something came up, I just don’t know this guy and that was my reasoning for making my case so public.

I have never been screwed on any Club Polk Deal and that’s why I come here, that and I just pain dig stereo stuff.

Kind regards to all that have posted and I will update this thread when I hear from him.

    Have a great weekend.

I've chatted w/Bill and I've found him to be a very upstanding dude. I know he was moving and that could be part of the problem. I have a good feeling that patience will prevail.

IMHO One month without any word is completely unacceptable, unless someone is in the hospital or dead.

And I do hope that those are not variables here.

I know that if I sent money to someone for something and didn't hear back at all for this time period I would be flipping out. Big time.

As I said to you in the PM when you contacted me, this kid has been to my home. I may not be a good judge of character on the internet, and I doubt anyone is or can be. However up close and personal I'm not a real bad judge. Something is very wrong in Bill's life for him to be treating you like this. Easy for me to say, and tough for you to listen to, but that's my impression of this affair. It'll work out.

I hope he's OK, but even on 7/14, it was over two weeks after the item was paid for.

Either way this is not good.

Screenname if you are just going to blow it off then that is your call. I would recommend not doing that. The matter needs to be found out, if Bill needs help the membership needs to know, if he has simply vanished the membership should know.

Bill was trying to change his domicile from Clarksville, TN, to Minneapolis if I recall. It was a "could happen at any time" thing if I recall. Not an excuse, just adding info here.

I received his <verified> cell phone # last night and left a message for him just a couple of minutes ago, to let us know if he needs help or if everything is OK.

    Let's hope for the best.
