Need Tube rolling advice

I'm looking to get a back-up stock of tubes so that when my current one's die, I won't be caught with my pants down.
I'm pleased with my current one's: JAN 6922 Phillips NOS/NIB and will order another set of these. To try other's, do I just need to make sure they are 6922 or will others fit as well? Any inexpensive recommendations that sound better than these JAN's?
Also, my NAD dvd/cd player gives me the option of listening to CD's with a 48khz or 96 khz output. I tried both and can't hear the difference either way. I'm guessing 96 khz is better, but want more education about this. thanks

My suggestion is to never order a second set of anything you already own. I've done it and it turns out to be a waste because you generally want to try something new. I've rarely "had" to buy a tube.
For 6922's my absolute favorite is the Amperex Bugle Boy. It is a wonderful tube. Secondary favorite was the electromarmonix...Vinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm putting a set of Bugle Boy's on my short list.
