:D
I highly recommend the latest white techflex Grover S ICs.

Mine took ~ 50 hours for complete burn-in and reached maybe 90% after about 20 hours.
I am using them throughout my entire system (see bottom of post):

Compared to earlier Grover S (black or white), I hear new level of previously masked or hidden detail in the music and greater frequency extension in both lows and highs, particularly in the highs. These are quieter (cleaner, clearer), more detailed, smoother, and more open.
Definitely now at "reference" level in my system to my ears.
The latest white Grover S are now in the "whole nother league."

(See posts on Audio Nervosa comparing earlier white Grover S to Stealth Indras and JPS Aluminatas, as well as to Straley Reality ICs, VenHaus Audio Pulsars, Speltz Anti-cables, etc.).

There is a 2nd "group buy" started for these current white Grover S interconnects on Audio Nervosa forum.
www.audionervosa.com
You may join Audio Nervosa and order through the 2nd group buy to get up to a 30% discount over the normal pricing of $150 for a one-meter pair with RCAs. Pricing for other lengths and terminations are already posted in the group buy section there.

I e-mailed to my friend George near Atlanta to alert him to get some of these. I then mailed him a pair of my white Grover S ICs to burn-in and audition.
George e-mailed:
Got em friday. I'm going to call you monday if thats ok,,first,,they are beautiful,,my ears are not as good as they used to be but,,,the grovers seem to be more refined, smoother, and the mids and highs are just simply amazing. I'm sold on them already. I'm going to get in on the group buy round two,,Thanks for helping me deplete my savings,,,you were right,,these cables are something else,,thanks again,,I forsee a big cable sale on Club Polk
Regards to all--george

Sorry if the Mars Hotel has rats.
    I am not one.
I think George Daniel would verify I am "legit."
I got SDA-1s in the mid-1980s and used them with a Carver C-1 preamp and Adcom GFA-545 for many years, and got my SRS-2s from George Daniel last year. I sent him one pair of my Grover ICs and he is auditioning them currently.
I got the RD-0194 tweets and replaced the old ones in my SDA-1s and added CSi-5 center and Fxi-5 surrounds when I went multi-channel, and then got the SDA-SRS-2s from George Daniel in person.
Yes, I have posted more on other forums (Head-Fi, AudioCircle, new Audio Nervosa, etc.) and often about Grover interconnect cables, synergy with Black Sand Violet and Silver Ref power cords, and with the Modwright linestage (with upgraded tubes) and Odyssey Mono Extreme SE power amps.
I enjoy music and use Polk speakers in my system.

I consistently use "rlmacklin" as my username at all the forums I am on, including Audiogon.
You are welcome to check my feedback there and those might refer to purchase of some of the equipment in my system.

Funny how you missed the point. Let me repeat it for you, "First 2 posts since you joined in 2004 and both are pushing some cable." Your posts are nothing more than thinly disguised advertisements.

Mods, why is this thread still here?

I have previously exchanged emails with this gentleman on various things. He is a member over at AudioNervosa as am I. In fact I informed him of the group buy that they had over there on Black Sand Cables. We had exchanged emails prior to AudioNervosa existing and in fact he contacted me through Club Polk.

I am not saying he has any vested interest or not, but I just wanted to point that out is all. You may form your own opinion of course, as we all do.

    Thanks,

I met Roger and his brother about a year ago when he drove down to buy my SDA SRS 2's. He is very enthusiatic about audio, and I believe that he is just trying to inform others as to how he feels about the "grovers" . I honestly believe that he does NOT have any vested interest(monetary or otherwise) other than trying to pass on what he feels is an "improvement" in the area of IC's.I have a pair that he sent me to try and I plan to purchase a set for my system.Roger may not post very much, but he's a stand up guy,in my book. :)

It sure comes across as though he has a vested interest. If he doesn't, fine and I'll apologize, although I think there are better ways to introduce yourself on an audio form. If he does, well........

I agree Jesse, as some genuine interaction with our forum would be nice to see but not everyone is as dedicated as we are I guess :) I don't plan on trying these cables out, that's for sure. Any cable named after a Sesame Street character is grounds for immediate reality disqualification.

Thanks for responding George and clarifying his comments in regards to his communication with you.

Hands down have to agree with that. If I were to meet this cat on the street and he introduced himself like this......first thought to come into mind would be.....

Talking about politics & religion are sticky subjects. Talking about IC's on an audio forum seems like a good choice. Especially since a few of our members in good standing have had good dealings with the fellow. Take a chill!

After a few not so nice experiences buying things with some newbs and some not so newbs I really did not know, I no longer pay money up front unless I know the person. If you want to send me some of these cables to evaluate please feel free, if they are any good I will buy a set, if not I will send them back. But you need to have twenty five posts to sell them here. Since George has integrated well into our community this is a bit of a positive for you.

I do think you might have posted up a bit more about your gear and Polk Products which I am personally a huge supporter of, but no "reel" harm, at least we are not hearing the objective "cables don't matter" drum with the fellow. However, to start the post off with you Highly recommend Them as we do not know you means very little.

That said welcome to our little community after a two year hiatus try to hang a bit and get to know the gang, we are quite the passionate bunch when it comes to audio and well, sex.

Guys, the pair that Roger sent me were were purchased by him for his own use. He wanted me to try them as he felt so
'passionate" about them,AND knowing that I would probabally never buy them unless I heard them. Well,I have, and I'm ordering a few pairs. I'd be happy to bring em' to PF (Ted,with your approval).I'm pretty sure that he just wanted to alert folks to the fact of the "group buy" at audio nervosa.
Cables,,why did it have to be cables ;)

I guess I felt a bit attacked after posting.
I had been at the university hospital first half of the day for my mom to get cardiac cath and I got in to work for the afternoon, and posted after work.

I guess it's fair to say I first joined Club Polk to get the discount pricing on the RD-0194 tweeters for my SDA-1s and also on the center channel and surround Polk speakers I added to my system, as well as to register all these.
I was a bit miffed when the registration changed and no longer included a way to register "classic" Polk products any more. I found this when I was trying to register the SDA-SRS-2s I got from George Daniel.

I am not a dealer or trying to sell anything myself here or anywhere. In fact I still have all the audio gear I have ever owned since college, except for the one pair of these ICs (and also two Black Sand Violet power cords) which I mailed to George Daniel for him to audition.
I have absolutely no monetary/financial or vested interest in the cables, other than that I find - based on having and using them in my system - that to my ears the latest white Grover S are superb/world class/top tier interconnects.

Jesse/F1Nut, I can understand your being protective of the Club Polk community and I will try to become a more active member/poster.
Will you allow me to accept your implied apology? Let's move forward...

I posted basically the same recommendation of these Grover S ICs on each forum I belong to inform folks re the sonic quality I feel they have reached and alert re the group buy at Audio Nervosa so that fellow audiophiles have a chance to read the reviews by others folks over there comparing them to other ICs they had and make up their own mind, and get some at a discount if they are so inclined.
All those reviews are by others and were based on pairs of the first white Grover S ICs being sent around to Audio Nervosa forum members to try before the first group buy.

I shared my only not-in-use pair of the Grovers with George Daniel, a Club Polk member, so he could hear why I was so excited. I also wanted to share the group buy discount information with all the Club Polk folks and so posted in the section that seemed appropriate. When I finished posting there, at the bottom of the screen it showed where Midnite Mick had a thread asking for info on Grovers a couple months back which I had never seen, so I copied/pasted my post again there.

I thank "reeltrouble" for a more moderate explanation of my reception and I accept the welcome:

"I do think you might have posted up a bit more about your gear and Polk Products which I am personally a huge supporter of, but no "reel" harm, at least we are not hearing the objective "cables don't matter" drum with the fellow. As am I...passionate about audio and sex and life in general...

    Roger,

I'll have to man up and change that impiled apology to an actual apology, which I hope you will accept.

I would also like to wish the best to your mother.

    Welcome to the forum,
    Jesse

    Jesse -
Certainly I accept your gracious actual apology and thank you for both that and your kind thoughts for my mom.

George Daniel called me yesterday morning and asked to keep for another week the one pair of the Grover S ICs (and also the 2 BSC Violet power cords) which I sent him. I agreed.
I had purchased that pair to use from Denon 3910 to older Harman Kardon CD391 cassette deck which I use to make analog tapes of CDs/SACDS/DVD-As for the car. I have on hand a Furutech IEC inlet I want to add to the HK so I can use one of those BSC Violets to power it rather than the stock captive power cord.

I guess reeltrouble1 and danger boy and treitz3 are at the top of the list if I ever decide to send the pair of Grovers that George has on to anyone else...
but as George has them for another week and the 2nd Audio Nervosa group buy on the Grovers closes/ends June 30 or July 1, no one else would get those ones in time for ordering at the discount. But I guess there could be another group buy over there later (or perhaps through Club Polk?).

I will probably "hang a bit and get to know the gang" (as reeltrouble1 put it) first.

I should add that I keep my eyes open here and elsewhere for bigger badder Polk speakers SRS, 1.2, 1.2 TL...
