This is my pride and joy. I am going to Japan soon and I can't take her with me .
I have babied every part in of this PC and it shows. This PC will serve you well whether it's used for any purpose you might have in mind.

I run it at 3.8Ghz for daily computing but the CPU will hit 4ghz without a sweat on air cooling. If you have water cooling you might be able to hit 4.5Ghz. This CPU rocks! I recently published an online over clocking project called "The Intel 630 4ghz Project" You can check out my results in the links below. Over clocking can be tricky so your speeds may vary from mine depending on how you set up the machine. I have kept her very clean and always running cool. The 1800XT over clocks well as far as I remember with the X2 cooler on it. I ran it at stock speeds 99% of the time though.

The case itself is better then most cases you will find and cost as such. I don't think you will find a better PC at this price with all the items it has in it. Seriously, price then separately at newegg.

Sorry for the following dumb question. Does that mobo take Core 2 Duo CPUs?

It takes the Pentium D Dual core CPU's, I'm not sure about the Core 2 Duo though.

It won't support the Core 2 Duo. I had to call ASUS to ask them something about my mobo so I checked while I had them on the phone.
